"Cedarwood Lodge Zayan"
b.
09/10/1996 Chestnut 14.2hh
(Talquah
Taraka x Talquah Jalinta)
|

Zayan is a decorated show mare with many
wins to her credit including Champion filly and mare at the Victorian
Crabbet show, and winner of Classic Head and trot. She is a
classically pretty mare with a beautiful head and eye,
and very long and fine silky flaxen mane.
She is serene and beautiful, yet compact with good correct movement,
short cannons and good feet.

Tragically we lost Flash on 16/3/11.
Her passing is a huge loss as she has left a hole in our stud, and
in our family. What a beautiful, gentle mare. We will miss those
huge kind eyes and loving nature.
"Pevensey
Flash"
b:
06/12/1996 Blood Bay, 14.3hh
(Sarafire x Pevensey Flame)
|
A
very regal and graceful
mare, Flash is the most treasured of our band of mares being both a valuable
broodmare and quiet saddle horse. She is very much in the style of her sire
Sarafire, and her grandsire Arim being the richest dark bay with a big blaze
and four even stockings. For a smaller mare, Flash is very substantial: a
roomy bodied mare with a broad chest and hindquarter, big strong hip and
long level croup with a very thick and full tail which is set high, and a
proud crested neck. She has the most exquisite head, and the sweetest
expression, which reflect her true nature: She has a gorgeous temperament,
big kind eyes very wide-set in her forehead, and small alert ears. She has
good straight legs and very good feet, and is a beautiful saddle horse;
forward yet very quiet and willing to ride and a great out on the
trails.

"Inshallah Bay Solitaire"
b. 12/12/2003 Bay 15.1hh
(Tommie
x Inshallah Pirouette)
|
Very athletic and beautiful bodied, and with clean and classy lines,
Bay Solitaire is the epitome of her breeding. A Banderol and
Crenel granddaughter, she is typical of the type and quality of Inshallah bred horses. She has an exceptional front and plenty of
stretch, big bold movement with great spring and impulsion, and a
classically pretty head. She has a great temperament with the mind
and the will for hard work. She is a great asset for our stud,
firstly as a show horse and broodmare and eventually she will be used
for cattle work and endurance.

"Jirrima
Ultra Minx"
b.
1/12/1999
Chestnut Sabino. 14.3hh
(Arundel House Zermat x Ralvon Spring)
|

Proudly on
lease from Splitters Creek Sporthorse Stud, I sourced Minx from a love of
her sire since I first saw him in 1992. A truly versatile stallion,
impeccably bred, and a proven producer of exceptional performance horses:
“Zam” has an unbeleiveable performance record himself, having competed in
Advanced Level Dressage, Graded Novice Eventing, been back-to-back
Australian Champion in Dressage and Sidesaddle, and in 2000 was part of the
Australian Paralympic Dressage Team.

My dream
was mare of crabbet lines for this cross, and who better than the Chip Chase
Sadaqua daughter Ralvon Spring. Minx is great-granddaughter to four classic
Australian-bred stallions: Tristram Selam, Magic Carpet, Cherokee Mecca, and
Ralvon Pilgrim. She has excellent endurance blood, yet as a bonus is an
exquisitely beautiful mare. Shown as a youngster to many championships, she
exhibits classical breed traits, a dished head, a fine throat and lovely
neck and neck-set, high tail carriage and a beautiful rounded outline. She
is feminine yet athletic, and very correct with good legs and powerful
movement, with great hock and knee action.

"Entitain"
b. 30/10/2008 Grey
Est.15.3hh
(Entity
x Henley Farm Jalla)
|
Our
only filly by Entity, Entitain is out of the exquisite and super moving
Henley Farm Jalla. She is very correct with straight legs and beautiful
feet, short back and broad hindquarter, and big floating trot. She is a
strong, leggy filly standing 15.1hh at only 2 years of age. She will be an
exceptional saddle horse with her size, movement and sweet easy-going
disposition. Spirited, athletic and correct with her mother's exquisite head, Entitain has a bright future as a saddlehorse and broodmare.

"Shivron
Park Eustacia"
b. 13/11/2002 Grey (born
Bay)
14.2hh
(Talquah
Taraka x Mallareta Fancy)
|
Purchased to replace our
mare Pevensey Flash, "Billy" has big shoes to fill. Being an Arim
granddaughter like Flash, Billy is the last precious daughter of the
superb stallion Talquah Taraka (see Stallions) She is very much like her
father with a broad forehead, kind eye, deep wide jowls and stretchy neck.
She is beautifully balanced, has a powerful trot with good straight legs
and big round hooves. Shown as a yearling, we hope to continue her
education by breaking her to saddle, as well as breeding some lovely
foals.
"Cameo
Carillion"
b. 11/12/1994 Bay/Brown.
14.1hh
(Talquah Jai x Cameo Wishing Wind)
Our most recent addition, this mare is only very small
but she is beautifully put together. She has good straight legs and hard
round hooves, she has an excellent length of hip and length of rein set on
a wonderful shoulder, and she defies her size with her ground covering
trot. Previously a fantastic sporting and Pony Club mount, she should
serve a dual purpose here with us also. Her precious bloodlines will be
used, being a granddaughter of Royal Domino, Crown Jewel and Chip Chase
Desert Wind. She is possibly one of the last Royal Domino granddaughters
still breeding today.

"Avondale
Flame"
b.
20/11/1992 Chestnut 15.1hh
(Jantason Cass Ibn Rish x Avondale Elegance)
|
In a search that has taken
years to find a Ralvon Pilgrim granddaughter, with height, type, and
movement, yet as much crabbet blood as possible; Flame ticked all the boxes.
An imposing big mare she is powerfully built with a broad chest and
hindquarter and huge elevated movement. She has an incredibly long neck,
a soft kind eye, and a well laid back shoulder. As a package she is very
like both her sire, Cass and grandsire, Pilgrim. Dam of very
successful show mare Avondale Flamingo, an A class halter and saddle winner.

"Henley
Farm Jalla"
b. 12/10/2003 Grey
Est. 15.1hh
(Henely Farm Ballash x Henley Farm Siyah)
|

Jalla is
simply exquisite. She has a sweet expression and very dishy head, lovely
neck and neck-set, and is correct with good straight legs and feet. She
is athletic, yet very feminine with superb movement. This stylish mare is
so incredibly light on her feet, she has an big-ground covering trot yet
relaxes into the slowest rocking horse canter.

Recently broken in, Jalla is going kindly,
and will make an excellent endurance prospect with her strong-willed
attitude and ground covering strides. Her filly "Entitain" is being
retained by the stud.

"Berragoon

b. 27/10/1996 Bay.
15.1hh
(Cloud Creek Player x Berragoon Willow)
|
A lovely
framed mare, Image is a big-bodied, with a good barrel and deep through the
girth. She has a lovely front with a wonderful sloping shoulder and very
good length of rein. A very good mover, this mare can really cover the
ground. Her son, a gelding by Condamine Rembrandt sold at the 2010 Landmark
Classic Campdraft Sale. We have Retro’s full brother, foaled in 2008. (see
Geldings page: “Grandridge Danny”).

"Kyles
Ziva"
b.
2/01/2006 Black Brown. 14.1hh
(Intrepid Commander x The Ranch Elly)
|
This little
mare has a very laid back temperament, with a “can-do” attitude. She has
good legs and feet, very strong through the hip and has a lovely big dark
eye. Ziva was broken in as a 4yo, and now going well undersaddle, with 3
good paces. With her sweet temperament she is beautifully quiet to handle in
every way. She is currently being prepared for the 2010 show season and will
be campaigned under saddle by Stuart Robinson. Quiet enough for a Junior,
Ziva will be very competitive as a lady Rider/Youth mount, and in the
Galloway ring.
